About Mike Mathews

My name is Mike Mathews. I have lived in Arizona since 2013. During that time, I was so busy that I did not have much time to get out and see much of this beautiful state. 

What was I doing? I spent a bit more than five and a half years going back to school to change my career. Arizona State University is my alma mater. Go Devils!

After completing school, I managed to land a job and I have spent the last almost two years getting myself established in my new job. 

So, now that I am feeling more comfortable in my job, learning how it works, and how I can manage and schedule my time more efficiently, I am getting excited about picking up my camera and getting outside and exploring.

Exploring Arizona...

So, I've picked up my camera and I am getting out into the state much much more than I have been in the last eight years. In my youth, I was always able to find great places to explore and discover. The only problem was, I never took pictures while in those cool places. Well, now I am planning weekends and small adventures around the state to not only enjoy the beauty the state has to offer, but to take pictures and create memories that will last a lifetime!
